FOOD

To ensure that our children can attend school and focus on their studies, One Ummah supports multiple food and nutrition programs to ensure their basic needs are met. Partnering with charities that provide nutritious rations we are allowing these children the strength and energy to break the cycle of poverty. One Ummah proudly accepts all types of donations including zakat, sadaqa and tithe.

  • 5 MILLION MEALS

Pledging to distribute 5 million+ meals to local organizations and families in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, India and more. Just 25 cents a meal allows us to make an enormous impact on poor families across the world.

A small group of families helping over 40+ families including refugees, single moms and orphans in the East Bay, CA area.

  • QURBANI

Give the blessing of sharing meat during the Eid al-Adha season. Help fight hunger and provide what may be the only meat these families consume all year. We honor this Islamic tradition while providing important nutrition for growing children and needy families.

  • KANJI IFTAR PROGRAM

Poverty abounds in Bibile, and many of the villagers have been forced to combine breakfast, lunch, and dinner into a single small meal at mid-day. This means scores of children, widows, and the elderly are going to bed hungry many nights. A simple, healthy meal of grains and coconut costs a mere 60 cents.
We have a goal to provide 100,000 meals during the holy month of Ramadan

  • FOOD BASKETS FOR YEMEN

The people of Yemen are experiencing the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. Famine and malnutrition affect 17 of the 30 million population. For just $35, we are providing sustenance for a family of six for one month; reaching places like Raymah and Hajjah, Saada and Aljawf - difficult to access geographically, or due to security issues. It costs only 21c/day to provide 3 meals for someone. 7c/meal.
