Supporting Vulnerable Communities in the Middle East and Uganda

One Ummah Foundation continues to support vulnerable communities in the Middle East and Uganda through humanitarian initiatives that address essential daily needs. Access to clean water is particularly important for families living in displacement camps, where resources can be limited and everyday life presents significant challenges.

Through this water assistance initiative, donations are being used to purchase 30 liters of diesel to fuel a generator that powers a water well, supplying water to approximately 180 families living in a large camp.

Keeping Water Wells Operational

In communities where reliable electricity is unavailable, generators can play an essential role in providing access to water. However, these generators require fuel to keep operating. Without it, water pumping may stop, leaving families struggling to obtain water for drinking, cooking, and maintaining hygiene.

By helping provide diesel for the generator, One Ummah Foundation is supporting the continued operation of the water well. This practical assistance helps maintain access to an essential resource for families who depend on the well for their daily needs.

Clean Water for 180 Families

For the 180 families benefiting from this initiative, access to a functioning water well can make a meaningful difference. Water is essential for preparing meals, caring for children, washing, and maintaining basic hygiene.

Families living in large displacement camps may already face uncertainty and limited access to essential services. Keeping a water source operational helps ease some of these daily difficulties and provides practical support to people experiencing hardship.

This project highlights how even a targeted contribution toward generator fuel can help sustain an essential service for an entire community.
