Why We Started

The Rahman Family established the One Ummah Foundation (OUF) in 1999 in loving memory of their two sons, Nabil and Mustafa Saeed Rahman. After losing Mustafa, Tasneem Rahman was determined to keep his memory alive by transforming grief into a mission of hope and compassion. The family founded OUF to honor the legacies of Nabil and Mustafa by working to unite communities and uplift children around the globe, irrespective of ethnicity or religion.

Emphasizing its One People mission, OUF fosters equality, dignity, and hope for vulnerable populations worldwide. Since its founding, the One Ummah Foundation has supported over 6 million children and their families in 33 countries, resulting in a profound and lasting impact.

Financials & Reports

Every year, One Ummah Foundation publishes a comprehensive Impact Report to ensure complete transparency in our financial operations. These reports detail how donations are allocated, the programs they support, and the lives they touch. OUF is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization, and your donations are tax-deductible in the U.S. By making this information publicly available, we uphold our promise of integrity, trust, and responsible stewardship of every contribution.
