36 Children Return to School in Jinja, Uganda

Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty. At One Ummah Foundation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, 36 children in Jinja, Uganda, have been given the chance to return to school and continue their education.

Many families in vulnerable communities struggle to afford school fees, uniforms, and essential learning materials. As a result, countless children are forced to miss out on education, limiting their opportunities and future prospects. Recognizing this need, the One Ummah Foundation team in Jinja worked diligently to ensure that children facing these challenges could return to the classroom.

Through this initiative, the OUF team was able to cover school fees and provide all the necessary school supplies for 36 children. The distribution included notebooks, pens, and other essential educational materials that students need to participate fully in their studies. These supplies may seem simple, but for many families, they can be difficult to afford.

The impact of this support was immediately visible. The children were excited to receive their new school materials and eager to begin learning again. Their enthusiasm serves as a reminder of how valuable education is and how even small acts of generosity can transform lives.

Access to education does more than help children succeed academically. It provides them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to their communities. By helping children stay in school, we are investing in future leaders, teachers, healthcare workers, and change-makers who will help strengthen their communities for years to come.
