Spreading Eid Joy Beyond Borders

Eid is a time of celebration, gratitude, and togetherness. It is a day when families gather, meals are shared, and hearts are filled with joy. Yet for many vulnerable families around the world, Eid can arrive with uncertainty instead of celebration.

This year, your generosity helped change that.

Through the efforts of One Ummah Foundation, families in Uganda were able to experience Eid with dignity, comfort, and happiness. What could have been a day of struggle became a day of nourishment and joy, made possible through collective compassion.

Complete Eid Meals For Families

With the support of generous donors, One Ummah Foundation successfully carried out an Eid food distribution, providing families with carefully prepared food packages. These packages included essential staples such as rice, bread, sugar, and cooking oil, along with fresh produce like tomatoes, carrots, green peppers, and onions.

To make the occasion even more special, families also received drinks and three live chickens, allowing them to prepare wholesome and complete Eid meals.

For many households, this meant being able to cook, share, and celebrate without worry. It meant children could smile, families could gather, and Eid could truly feel like Eid.

This distribution was not just about providing food. It was about restoring joy on a day that holds deep emotional and spiritual value. It was about ensuring that no family felt left out during a time meant for celebration.
