Free Medical & Eye Camp Held in Ghorabari, Thatta

On Sunday, June 15, 2025, the One Ummah Foundation, in collaboration with Al-Rayaz Hospital Trust, organized a Free Medical and Eye Camp in Ghorabari, Thatta. The event aimed to provide essential healthcare services to individuals who have limited or no access to medical care in remote regions.
The camp witnessed an encouraging response, with 147 patients receiving free consultations and treatments. A dedicated team, including Dr. Osama bin Ahmed and Hamza, offered their time and expertise to ensure quality medical care was delivered with compassion and professionalism.

A Breakdown of Services and Impact
The services offered during the camp were both wide-ranging and impactful:
- 58 patients underwent refraction testing to assess vision and detect the need for corrective lenses.
- 34 patients received minor procedures to address various health concerns.
- 55 patients were provided only medical treatment for conditions that did not require surgery or procedures.
The camp was led and supervised by Dr. Kashif Anis, Senior Medical Director and In-Charge of the Camp, who ensured smooth coordination across all activities and patient care services.
In addition to general consultations, the following services were provided free of cost:
- OPD and BMI screening
- Eye checkups
- Sugar and cholesterol testing
- Medical treatment and free medicine distribution
These services are essential for early detection and prevention of chronic illnesses, especially in rural communities where people often ignore symptoms due to inaccessibility or financial limitations.

Strengthening Rural Health Systems
The camp in Ghorabari is another step forward in One Ummah Foundation’s mission to uplift underserved communities by offering accessible, dignified, and free healthcare services. By continuing to partner with organizations like Al-Rayaz Hospital Trust, OUF is building a sustainable model that focuses on both immediate care and long-term health outcomes.
