Free Medical & Eye Camp Held by One Ummah & Al-Rayaz

In a heartfelt initiative to bring quality healthcare to those in need, Al-Rayaz Hospital Trust, in collaboration with the One Ummah Foundation, successfully organized a Free Medical & Eye Camp on Sunday, 18th May 2025. This noble effort aimed to provide essential medical services to underprivileged individuals who otherwise may not have access to timely healthcare.
Held at the premises of Al-Rayaz Hospital, the camp was open to all, offering a wide range of free services including OPD/BMI, Eye Checkups, Sugar Tests, Cholesterol Tests, and General Consultations. A total of 60 patients were welcomed and attended to with compassion and care. The camp was led by the esteemed Dr. Kashif Anis and Dr. Shujaat Ali Siddiqui, whose dedication and medical expertise ensured that every patient received personalized attention.

One of the camp's most impactful aspects was its focus on eye care. In addition to routine checkups, free cataract surgeries were offered to patients who could not afford them. For others requiring advanced care, the hospital provided discounted rates on YAG laser treatments, reflecting both organizations' shared commitment to restoring vision and improving lives.

The event was not only about medical checkups, it was a celebration of compassion, service, and community support. Volunteers from both Al-Rayaz Hospital and One Ummah Foundation worked tirelessly to coordinate the registrations, assist doctors, and support the patients throughout their visit. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and kindness, reinforcing the belief that health is not a privilege but a right.
At One Ummah Foundation, we believe in standing by our community and being a source of hope and healing. Collaborations like this are central to our mission. By joining hands with like-minded institutions such as Al-Rayaz Hospital, we are able to multiply our impact and reach more lives.
The success of this medical camp has inspired us to continue such outreach programs on a regular basis. With every patient served, we are reminded that small acts of service can lead to significant changes. Whether it's detecting diabetes early, correcting a cataract, or simply offering a listening ear, these interventions make a world of difference for someone in need.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the team at Al-Rayaz Hospital Trust, our medical professionals, volunteers, and all those who supported this initiative. Together, we are working to build a healthier, more compassionate society.
We invite you to stay connected for upcoming health camps and community outreach programs. To support our mission or make a donation, please visit https://oneummahfoundation.kindful.com. Together, we can continue making a meaningful impact—one life at a time.
