In a heartening example of meaningful collaboration, One Ummah Foundation (OUF) has made a significant contribution to the ongoing development of the Islamic Girls Learning School, leading to visible and impactful progress on-site. What was once a stalled construction effort now shows strong momentum, with four newly built classrooms and two expansive covered walkways completed, thanks entirely to this recent donation.

This school, rooted in Islamic teachings and values, aims to provide underprivileged girls with access to quality religious and academic education in a safe, supportive, and purpose-built environment. For years, the local community had struggled to push construction forward due to lack of funds and resources. The donation by OUF has proven to be a turning point, turning blueprints and plans into bricks and mortar.

The most significant development following OUF’s support is the completion of four well-structured rooms that will serve as classrooms. In addition to this, the construction of two large, covered corridors (formerly referred to as verandahs) offers shelter and smooth movement between rooms, especially beneficial during harsh weather conditions. These walkways also provide open spaces where students can assemble, engage in recreational activities, or participate in outdoor lessons without exposure to direct sun or rain.

These additions not only enhance the physical structure of the school but also add dignity and safety to the learning process. The school, which once functioned in cramped or partially built spaces, now has solid infrastructure to support structured learning.
