Bringing Food Relief to Families in Midsayap

One Ummah Foundation continues to reach vulnerable communities with essential food assistance, bringing relief and hope to families facing hardship. In Upper and Lower Kadigasan, Midsayap, North Cotabato, OUF recently carried out the first leg of a food relief distribution, supporting families who needed assistance during challenging circumstances.

The distribution took place on Friday, 7 August 2026, under the sponsorship of One Ummah Foundation. A total of 95 families received food assistance through this humanitarian activity, helping provide essential support to households in the community.

Food distributions may seem simple, but for families struggling with limited resources, receiving essential food can make a significant difference. It can help ease household expenses, provide meals for children, and give families a greater sense of security during difficult times.

Overcoming Challenges to Deliver Relief

The distribution experienced a slight delay because of local peace and order conditions in the area. Despite the challenges, the relief team remained committed to reaching the intended beneficiaries.

Alhamdulillah, the event eventually proceeded smoothly, allowing 95 families from Upper and Lower Kadigasan to receive the food relief they needed.

Humanitarian work often requires patience, flexibility, and dedication. This next effort will allow OUF to extend its support to another community and reach more families facing difficult circumstances. Continuing food relief across vulnerable areas is an important part of OUF's wider humanitarian mission.
