Phaco Machine Donated in Memory of Beloved Parents

Honoring a Legacy Through Vision
In June 2025, the One Ummah Foundation and Al-Rayaz Hospital Trust were honored to receive a valuable addition to their surgical capabilities: the CATERHEX 3 Phaco Emulsification System, a highly advanced tool used in modern cataract surgeries. This equipment was generously donated by Mr. M. Saeed Rahman in loving memory of his parents, Late Abdul Rahman Siddique and Late Rabia Issa Kably.
This donation is a powerful tribute to the lives and values of the Late Abdul Rahman Siddique and the Late Rabia Issa Kably and the enduring belief that every individual deserves access to quality healthcare. Through this contribution, their legacy now lives on in the eyes of those who will regain their sight.

Expanding Access to Cataract Surgeries
Cataract remains one of the leading causes of preventable blindness in Pakistan. For many patients from underprivileged backgrounds, surgery is financially out of reach. The CATERHEX 3 Phaco System enables the medical team at Al-Rayaz Hospital to perform high-precision, minimally invasive cataract surgeries, significantly improving patient outcomes with reduced recovery times.
This machine will be instrumental in future eye camps and hospital procedures, allowing patients, particularly those from remote and underserved areas, to receive world-class eye care free of cost or at highly subsidized rates.
A Gift That Keeps on Giving
With this equipment now in place, One Ummah Foundation and Al-Rayaz Hospital can extend their cataract surgical programs and expand the reach of their mission: restoring sight, dignity, and independence to those in need.
The plaque commemorating this donation has been respectfully placed at the hospital, serving as a reminder of a family's generosity and commitment to service. Mr. Mohammad Saeed Rahman’s contribution is a heartfelt act of remembrance and a meaningful investment in human well-being.
