Ramadan Food & Iftar Support in the Philippines 2026

Spreading Blessings During Ramadan
Ramadan is a time of reflection, generosity, and compassion. During this blessed month, the One Ummah Foundation works to support vulnerable communities around the world. In March 2026, the organization carried out several Ramadan food distribution and iftar programs in different communities across Mindanao, Philippines. These initiatives helped families in need enjoy the blessings of Ramadan with dignity and comfort.
Through the generous support of donors, many families received essential food packages and had the opportunity to break their fast together with their community. These acts of kindness remind us that even small efforts can bring hope and happiness to people facing hardship.
Supporting Families with Ramadan Food Packs
On March 7, 2026, the Annual Ramadan Food Distribution began in Barangay Calsada, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao Del Norte, Mindanao, Philippines. With the support of the One Ummah Foundation, 70 families received food packages to help them prepare meals throughout the holy month.
For many families, Ramadan can be challenging due to limited resources. The food packs provided essential items that helped households prepare nutritious meals for suhoor and iftar. This support allowed families to focus on worship and spiritual growth without worrying about how they would feed their loved ones.
The smiles and gratitude from the community showed how meaningful this support was for those who received it.

Helping Communities in Maguindanao Del Sur
The Ramadan food distribution continued on March 7, 2026, in Barangay Bagan, Guindulungan, Maguindanao Del Sur, Philippines. During this activity, 25 families were provided with food assistance.
Even though the number may seem small, each package represented relief and support for a household in need. Programs like these strengthen communities and show the importance of unity and compassion during Ramadan.
The One Ummah Foundation remains committed to reaching underserved communities and ensuring that families have access to basic food during this blessed time.
Bringing People Together for Iftar
In addition to food distribution, the foundation also organized community iftar gatherings. On March 7, 2026, an Iftar Program was held in Barangay Bagan, Guindulungan, where 130 people came together to break their fast.
Sharing iftar is more than just a meal. It is a moment of unity, gratitude, and connection. Families, elders, and children gathered in a warm and welcoming environment to enjoy a meal together after a day of fasting.
These community gatherings help strengthen bonds and bring joy to those who may otherwise struggle to prepare an iftar meal.
Another Blessed Iftar Gathering
The following day, on March 8, 2026, another iftar program was organized in Barangay Meta, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao Del Sur, Philippines. This event welcomed 180 participants who shared a blessed evening meal together.
The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and happiness as people from the community joined to break their fast. For many attendees, it was a meaningful experience that reminded them they are not alone and that people around the world care about their well-being.

Be Part of This Impact
These Ramadan programs are only possible because of the generosity of supporters who believe in helping those in need. With continued support, the One Ummah Foundation can reach more communities and bring hope to even more families during Ramadan.
