Ramadan Orphan Care Supporting 154 Children In Need

A Ramadan That Brought Care To Orphaned Children

As the blessed month of Ramadan has now passed, its impact continues to live on in the hearts of those who were supported during this sacred time. For many orphaned children, Ramadan was not only a month of fasting and reflection, but also a time when they felt seen, cared for, and supported.

Through its Ramadan Orphan Care Initiative, One Ummah Foundation, in collaboration with Women Inter Communal Initiatives, reached 154 orphaned children across three orphanage centers in Cotabato City and Maguindanao. These young boys and girls, many of whom face daily challenges, were provided with essential food supplies to ease their hardship during Ramadan.

Providing More Than Just Food

Each orphanage received carefully prepared food packages that included staple items such as rice, sugar, salt, and cooking oil, along with nourishment essentials like eggs, sardines, noodles, and coffee. Cooking necessities including soy sauce, vinegar, and ketchup were also provided to ensure meals could be prepared with ease.

These were not just food supplies. They were a source of comfort, stability, and dignity for children who deserve care and compassion. For many of them, this support meant consistent meals, reduced worry, and a sense of belonging during a time that is meant to bring peace and togetherness.

The True Impact Of Ramadan Giving

Ramadan is a time when generosity multiplies, and this initiative reflects the power of collective giving. With your support, 154 children were able to experience the month with nourishment and reassurance.

Behind every package delivered was a message: you are not forgotten.
Behind every meal was a reminder: you are cared for.

This is the true essence of Ramadan—not just giving, but transforming lives with compassion.

The Mission Continues Beyond Ramadan

While Ramadan has ended, the needs of these children remain. Hunger, uncertainty, and daily challenges do not disappear with the passing of the month. The same children who were supported during Ramadan continue to rely on assistance for their wellbeing.

One Ummah Foundation remains committed to continuing this mission beyond Ramadan, ensuring that orphaned children receive the care and support they need throughout the year.

Be Part Of Ongoing Impact

Your support made this Ramadan meaningful for 154 orphaned children. Now, you have the opportunity to continue that impact beyond the blessed month.

Every contribution helps provide food, stability, and hope to children who need it the most. Together, we can ensure that care does not end with Ramadan, but continues every single day.
