In many places worldwide, water deserts force people to travel long distances to fetch potable water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning. This takes valuable work and education time, especially for women and girls. To alleviate this problem, The One Ummah Foundation builds wells and refills water tanks in arid zones, giving people more time to go to school and work for an income. For only $150, we can build a well in many parts of the world and provide the essential need of water.
